The HITRUST Project Manager/Team Lead is a key contributor to the foundation service provided by Intraprise Health. As an information security subject matter expert, you will have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of customer initiatives that guiding Intraprise customers through the HITRUST CSF certification and adoption process.

As the leading security and privacy framework in the healthcare industry, HITRUST serves to benchmark, remediate, monitor, and mature an organizations security/privacy management program. In this role, you will be at forefront of helping our customers achieve this.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the business unit executive in managing the overall HITRUST service project schedule.
  • Responsible for initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing complex initiatives using a formal project management methodology.
  • Partner with customer to assist with business base development to obtain approved engagement scope.
  • Ensures established project budget and schedule are met.
  • Facilitates meetings with multiple levels within internal and customer stakeholders to obtain, drive and communicate the status of the project.
  • Present project-related presentations for director-level leadership.
  • Direct and frequent involvement in sponsor, client, and customer relations to ensure that service expectations are met.
  • Identify, document, and drive issues and risks to resolution / mitigation and when necessary escalate to leadership for assistance. Develop decision documents for options to resolve issues / risks.
  • Establish, analyze, monitor, and forecast project budget based on information provided from a variety of sources.
  • Develop detailed plans and schedules.
  • Monitor project metrics for significant deviations in quality, cost, or schedule.
  • Coach and mentor individuals on the project teams and provides feedback on performance.
  • Adhere to Program Management Office policies, procedures and methodologies.
  • Assist in establishing and improving project management methodologies, procedures and policies.
  • Manage the ongoing professional developments of the HITRUST team.
  • Continuous review and update of service methodology/process documentation and standards.
  • Stay current on all HITRUST CSF advisories, CSF versions and applicable regulatory factors.
  • Knowledge on threat landscape, security threat and vulnerability management, and security monitoring and analytics.
  • Responsible for tracking and managing submission tasks.
  • Other duties, tasks and responsibilities, as needed.
  • Travel – Up to 25%

Required/Preferred Skills:

  • Years of experience: 5 – 8 years equivalent experience
  • Proficient in both balancing project management and relationship building to achieve both client and business success.
  • Experience and familiarity with HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2 and NIST CSF.
  • Proficient in preparation of reports, dashboards and documentation for senior management, executives and/or C-Suite.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously that have significant business implications.
  • Keen understanding of key success factors for initiatives.
  • Ability to achieve forward progress and maintain momentum in a project environment.
  • Experience with projects that have multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage engagements with -executive level- visibility and interaction.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience in performing client & vendor management.
  • Ability to handle high pressure situations with key stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge and experience with MS office with proficiency in Excel.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management of Information Systems, or equivalent experience
  • Additionally, one or more professional or InfoSec certifications is preferred.
