Position Highlights

The Senior Software Quality Assurance (QA) Tester is an instrumental member of the Intraprise Health Product team, helping to ensure our Security Product suite meets specified requirements and client needs. The Senior Software QA Tester position is a senior-level role with an outstanding opportunity for future growth in a rapidly growing company.  The Senior Software QA Tester works closely with our Product and Development team members to review overall functional and non-functional requirements, while keeping the end user’s perspective in mind. Activities in this role will include analyzing requirements and technical designs for translating into test cases covering functionality, usability, performance, and security.  Additionally, the Senior Software QA Tester identifies defects in all layers of the application stack (data, user interface, functionality) and drives them to resolution.  Ideally, candidates will possess a capability and drive for thinking creatively to resolve complex problems and enjoy contributing on a high-performing team regardless of their functional role.

Role Summary

• Responsible for reviewing business and functional requirements and identifying acceptance criteria
• Advise Product Management and Business/Application Analysts, regarding clarity of requirements and design testability
• Develop, communicate, and implement comprehensive QA strategies to ensure testing coverage over the duration of a project
• Create and execute test plans and test cases to accurately identify, document, and report software defects and overall testing status for milestones and releases
• Partner with product, development, operations, and business team members to reproduce, analyze, and document software defects
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and client users to understand use cases and requirements to better advocate for business users
• Demonstrate an advanced understanding of Software QA fundamentals and apply these to a variety of complex projects

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Proven experience creating and executing test cases within the complete software development lifecycle leveraging various test heuristics and browser developer tools to inspect and evaluate web application functions and data
• Possesses an advanced understanding of compliance and/or security risk management scenarios and related software testing requirements
• Able to independently validate data integrity and accuracy within both SQL Server and Cosmos databases
• Deep knowledge of testing best practices across the entire software development lifecycle of SaaS cloud platforms
• Experience utilizing Agile/Scrum disciplines and tools
• Expertise using a test case management and issue tracking platforms
• Able to work closely with QA Testing Automation resources to design and develop testing automation scenarios test scripts
• Advanced organization skills to set priorities, goals, and timetables to manage time efficiently and achieve maximum productivity for themselves and other testing resources
• Proves a willingness to commit the additional time and effort necessary during period of heavy workload to meet project milestones and deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education: Bachelor of Science degree (computer science or technical major preferred) or equivalent experience
