Sean Friel, CEO of Intraprise Health, has dedicated his 35 year career to helping healthcare organizations implement technology that improves their operations and patient care. He is recognized throughout the industry for his ability to build customer focused teams that have received industry leading customer satisfaction scores.
Most recently, Sean led rapid growth at private equity backed leading Health Information Technology companies such a Voalte and Lightning Bolt Solutions. As National Vice President of U.S. Sales for Siemens’ Healthcare IT division, his team drove sales to more than $1 billion. Prior to his 13 years at Siemens, Sean played an instrumental role in the success of Shared Medical Systems (SMS), an early leader in automating hospital systems.
Sean earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Villanova University, and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Vikas Khosla is the Chief Digital Health Officer of Intraprise Health. Vikas works with the leadership team and partners to develop strategies and market differentiation for the advancement of security risk management programs across the healthcare industry.
Vikas was formerly the President and CEO of BluePrint Health Information Technology and was responsible for guiding BluePrint through decades of exponential success. Working in healthcare technology since 1999, Vikas developed one of the first hospital roadmaps for compliance with HIPAA Security and Privacy regulations in 2005. In 2008, building on his knowledge of health system, payer and business associate workflows, Vikas and BluePrint introduced a suite of software products and NIST-based professional services supporting security, privacy, compliance and health data management. In 2011, Vikas lead BluePrint through the rigorous process of becoming one of the first HITRUST Certified Assessors. Vikas frequently speaks on healthcare technology and cybersecurity issues with a focus on building holistic, framework-based risk management programs. As a long-standing member of HIMSS, Vikas has focused on advocacy events nationally and regionally to increase legislative awareness and funding for healthcare technology.
Ralph Arcaro is the Chief Financial Officer of Intraprise Health, responsible for the financial performance and forecasting of the company.
Prior to Intraprise Health, Ralph was Principal of Intraprise Solutions and one of its earliest employees. At Intraprise Solutions, Mr. Arcaro was instrumental in the management of some of the company’s most complex projects including a massively parallel-processed mortgage valuation system as well as various healthcare information technology projects, products, and services related to the secure aggregation, transformation, storage, analysis, and distribution of critical and protected patient health information. As COO of one of the nation’s first private, cloud-based Health Information Exchange businesses, Mr. Arcaro was influential the system’s growth to serve hundreds of health systems, tens of thousands of clinicians, and millions of patients across the United States while consistently achieving the highest ratings in KLAS, until it was eventually sold in 2011. Prior to joining Intraprise Solutions, Mr. Arcaro worked as a nuclear safety engineer for the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board. Mr. Arcaro was responsible for the oversight of all Systems Engineering activities within the U.S. Department of Energy defense nuclear facilities. Mr. Arcaro graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He also later received a Master of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Maryland.
Neal Pason, Chief Operating Officer of Intraprise Health, has over 25 years of experience in the development, implementation and management of information technology solutions for government defense agencies and within the financial and healthcare services industries.
Prior to joining Intraprise Health, Neal oversaw the implementation engineering, consulting, hosting and support operations for MobileMD, a cloud-based Health Information Exchange platform. Together with other members of the Intraprise Health leadership team, Neal earned Health Information Service Provider accreditation, furthering interoperability capabilities for MobileMD’s customer base. Neal was directly responsible for the secure processing of over 1 million daily transactions spanning over 500 connected sites.
Upon graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY, Neal served as a United States Army Aviator and Intelligence Officer with tours throughout Europe and the United States. Neal is a licensed commercial rotary and fixed-wing pilot who enjoys playing and coaching soccer.
Siobhan Scalia Carroll has over 20 years of experience working with companies in the high-tech, banking, healthcare, energy and security sectors, successfully creating innovative marketing and public relations strategies.
Prior to joining Intraprise Health, Carroll was Senior Vice President at The Perry Group, one of New England’s leading public relations agencies. While at TPG, Carroll created and executed reputation management programs that positioned senior corporate executives as industry leaders. In addition to launching new products and securing product reviews in industry journals, she planned and implemented media events, developed internal communications strategies and placed speakers at major trade shows. She also developed publicity strategies for both product and sales partnerships and worked closely with industry analysts.
A skilled writer, Carroll has a talent for turning complicated issues into easily understood concepts. She has a particular expertise in communicating the business of technology. Her experience includes work with Banyan Systems, a networking software company, where she launched new product campaigns and developed trade show marketing programs. She also worked to position the company publicly during its IPO.
Additionally, Carroll spent six years supervising account teams that serviced high-tech clients such as The Open Group, an industry consortium that set open standards for computing infrastructure. She also worked with AP Engines and the Yankee Group, while with SVM in Providence, RI, one of New England’s legacy PR agencies.
Carroll graduated from the College of the Holy Cross with a BA in English. She lives and works in Rhode Island.
Tim Denis, Chief Product Officer of Intraprise Health, has 30 years of experience providing program oversight and product management for government defense and healthcare service industries.
Joining Intraprise Solutions in 2000, Tim led the division of Intraprise Solution’s healthcare solutions-based services business. Under Tim’s leadership, the division was responsible for the development of the first fully digital Medical Record Release of Information system, the first cloud-based Medical Coding application, and their own product, the innovative MobileMD HIE and Direct Trust certified HISP. The MobileMD business was sold to Siemens Healthcare in 2011. Tim rejoined the Intraprise team in 2017.
Prior to joining Intraprise Solutions in 2000, Tim was an officer in the US Air Force. His last active duty station was at headquarters US Air Force in the Pentagon where he was responsible for program oversight and management of the Air Force’s $2B+ Military Construction program. Tim earned his B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Clarkson University, and achieved an M.S. in Business Management from Troy University.
Brian is a seasoned cyber security and risk management leader with over 30 years of security, technology and healthcare experience. He exhibits exceptional organizational leadership with the ability to think strategically and operationally with practicality and a focus on execution. He has successfully tackled the myriad of challenges associated with protecting sensitive healthcare information both as a leader and implementer of comprehensive programs. With his knowledge of security frameworks, standards, implementation methodologies, technology platforms, organizational processes and budget management, he has helped organizations improve and mature their security posture while mitigating security risks in order to achieve regulatory compliance and security certification.
Brian has led initiatives for many types of customers including health systems, payers, healthcare technology, pharma and life sciences companies. He has developed, managed and collaborated on programs leading to successful compliance and/or certifications for standards such as HIPAA Security and Privacy, HITRUST CSF (Common Security Framework), NIST SP 800-xxx, NIST CSF (Cybersecurity Framework), NIST RMF (Risk Management Framework), CMSR (CMS Minimum Security Requirements), FISMA/FIPS, PCI-DSS, SOC-1 and SOC-2, as well as ISO 27001 and 27002.
He has worked across a broad range of security, IT and business functions, providing strategic vision and leading large program implementations, business process change management and day-to-day operations. He is equally comfortable conversing with business leaders and technologists.
Brian is a frequent speaker, presenter and author on healthcare security topics primarily focusing on building and deploying best-practice security programs (see below). He holds a Bachelor’s in Management Information Systems from Indiana University of PA and a Master’s Certificate in Applied Project Management from Villanova University. Brian resides with his family in eastern Pennsylvania.
Intraprise Health’s Vice President of Security Products and Strategy, Ryan Patrick, MBA, CISSP, CCSFP, brings 17 years’ experience in security and information technology for both the public and private sectors.
Ryan brings an innovative perspective in protecting information and organizational resources. Prior to joining Intraprise Health, Ryan served as the Vice President of Client Services & Operations with Fortified Health Security where he developed and led a team that was named the 2018 North American Health IoT Company of the Year by Frost & Sullivan and a Top Provider of Medical Device & IoT Cybersecurity Solutions by Black Book. Ryan previously served as the Director of Security, Privacy and Compliance at Blueprint Healthcare IT.
Working within organizations like MetLife and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center as a security analyst, Ryan has gained a wealth of experience conducting risk assessments against HIPAA, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53 and PCI-DSS. He has been Battalion Commander at United States Army Reserve since April 2017. His previous military assignments include serving as Global Enterprise Operations Center Team Chief for the US Special Operations, Chief Information Officer of 42d Infantry Division within the New York Army National Guard, as the Deputy Chief Information Officer, and Chief Information Officer of FEMA Region II Homeland Response Force.
Greg Brock, Chief Technology Officer of Intraprise Health, has over 31 years of experience in the design, development, and delivery of advanced software solutions for space, government defense, and healthcare service industries.
Joining Intraprise Solutions in 1999, Greg led the development team supporting Intraprise’s healthcare solutions-based services business. The team was responsible for the development of the first fully digital Medical Record Release of Information system, the first cloud-based Medical Coding application, and their own product, the innovative MobileMD HIE and Direct Trust certified HISP. The MobileMD business was spun out and sold to Siemens Healthcare in 2011. Greg rejoined the Intraprise team in 2017.
Prior to joining Intraprise Solutions in 1999, Greg worked for Northrup Grumman’s Xetron division, developing secure communication systems for government defense and intelligence organizations. Greg is a proud graduate of Florida Institute of Technology, where he earned his B.S. in Computer Engineering.
Bobby Seegmiller is a Senior SaaS Sales Executive with 15+ years of business experience selling enterprise solutions and developing business partnerships. He currently serves as Senior VP of Business Development at HIPAA One, where he oversees business development, sales strategy, implementation and growth of HIPAA One. Prior to joining HIPAA One, Bobby served as a SaaS E-sign Solution Consultant for several Fortune 50 customers by automating workflow and incorporating electronic signatures to increase sales and reduce risk. Hobbies include a passion for all things outdoors. Family, hiking, backpacking, motorcycling, skiing, fishing, Disneyland, high-adventure, and travel to exciting places helps to maintain a great work/life balance.
